After months of deliberation, the Costa Rican government finally issued the digital nomad visa. Costa Rica’s Digital Nomad Visa is one of the easiest visas to obtain in the country. The temporary residency visa, known as a Rentista in this Central American country, allows for two years of remote work. Prospective visitors must have a monthly income of at least $3,000 USD. The amount may increase if there are more dependents. Fees, fingerprint records, and a copy of the prospective visa holder’s birth certificate are among the other requirements.
