Croatia
Croatia is another country that is quickly becoming a popular digital nomad destination. It is the location of many iconic pop-culture sites and has a lot to offer visitors. They provide a Digital Nomad Residence Permit, which allows you to live and work in Croatia as a digital nomad. It was first introduced in January 2021 and is intended to function as a temporary residence permit rather than a visa.
Croatia does not issue visas, but its programme still caters to digital nomads. Individuals and close family members can stay for up to a year without the option of extending their stay. You can, however, reapply for six months.
Prospective visitors must bring several documents with them, including Form 1a if filing in person. Applicants must have a monthly salary of 17,822.50 HRK or a yearly salary of 213,870.00 HRK. This equates to $2,377.47 USD and $28,529.76 USD. These amounts increase by 10% for each additional family member.
Applicants must pay a fee ranging from 350 HRK ($46.69 USD) to 460 HRK ($61.36 USD) depending on the method of application.

Czech Republic
The Czech Republic is a popular digital nomad destination because of its beautiful cities. The Czech Republic’s freelancer visa, Zivno, is a little trickier to obtain than the other visas on this list. A variable fee, proof of a minimum income of 124,500 koruna (CZK) or $5,564.58 and documents such as a passport, proof of residence, a criminal record, and so on are required for this programme.
Applicants must also obtain a trade licence for one of the jobs on this list before applying. A trade licence visa enables you to conduct business in the Czech Republic by combining the Trade Licensing Act with a long-term business visa. Applicants must also pass an immigration interview. The visa is valid for one year and can be approved in 90-120 days.

Estonia
Estonia made history by establishing the world’s first official digital nomad visa programme. On August 1, 2020, Estonia launched an official Digital Nomad Visa for remote workers to stay in the country for up to a year.
You can apply for either a short-term (C-Visa) or a long-term visa (D-Visa). This visa, however, does not grant you the right to citizenship or permanent residence in Estonia or the EU. Applicants must show proof of a minimum income of €3,504 and pay a state fee of €80 for a Type C (short stay) or €100 or Type D (long stay) visa.
In addition, you must have a valid travel document and health insurance. They must also pass a background investigation. Applications must be submitted in person at the nearest Estonian Embassy or Consulate, and processing time ranges between 15 and 30 days.

Georgia
Georgia is one of the friendliest countries for digital workers. They offer a number of options for remote workers, including dedicated programmes for anyone who works from home. They launched the “Remotely From Georgia” campaign in response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s losses. Even though this is not a visa category for digital nomads, it is treated as one.
The Remotely From Georgia programme allows digital nomads and their families to work for a year within the former Soviet state. Travelers from up to 95 countries, including the United States and European Union (EU) members, can participate in the project.
Applicants must only complete an online application form and provide financial proof, along with any other information requested. The entire process only takes 10 business days after submission to be reviewed.

Germany
