Anguilla
Beyond Extraordinary Anguilla is a programme that allows digital nomads to stay in the British Overseas Territory for up to a year. If you want to work remotely from the island, you must pay a USD $2,000 (per individual) travel fee, though families of up to four people must pay a USD $3,000 (plus an additional USD $250 for each additional family member).
To be eligible, you must provide proof of self-employment or be employed by a company based outside of Anguilla. In other words, you must not work for any Anguilla-based businesses. Remote students are also accepted.

Antigua & Barbuda
The Antigua and Barbuda government launched the Antigua Nomad Digital Residence programme in 2020. Both islands offer a long-stay programme for remote workers called Nomad Digital Residence. The visa is valid for two years and costs $1,500 USD per individual, $2,000 USD for couples and $3,000 USD for families of three or more. Applicants must complete the application and submit up to 11 documents, including proof of expected income of at least $50,000 USD for each year of the programme.

The Bahamas Extended Access Travel Stay allows digital nomads to work remotely for a year from any of the 16 islands. A $25 USD fee, a valid passport data page, a medical insurance card, and proof of employment are all required for an application. The application is typically processed in five days. To obtain their Work Remotely permit, approved applicants must pay $1,000 USD (plus $500 USD for each dependent).

Barbados
Barbados launched a new remote work programme called the Welcome Stamp. It is aimed at foreigners who want to make the country their new home when it opens in June 2020. The Barbados Welcome Stamp programme created a visa that allows visitors to work remotely for up to a year. The application fee is $2,000 USD for individuals and $3,000 USD for families. A passport-sized photograph, the bio data page of a passport, and proof of dependents’ relationship must accompany the application (if applicable). Applicants must also demonstrate that they will earn $50,000 USD over the course of their 12-month stay.

The Work From Bermuda The certificate allows digital nomads to work remotely for a period of 12 months. The $263 USD application fee must be accompanied by proof of employment and health insurance. Applicants with a criminal record are not eligible. Although there is no set minimum, applicants must be able to support themselves for the entire year. Family members must also pay a fee and apply separately, but all applications must be submitted on the same day. The average turnaround time is five business days.

The application process for the “One Year Residential Certificate” visa is relatively quick, taking no more than 10 working days to complete. Most applications, however, take an average of 5 working days to complete.
Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands has joined the growing list of island nations that have launched the Global Citizen Concierge Program (GCCP), which allows people to work and live in paradise. The GCCP is the market’s longest remote work visa, with unlimited trips in and out of the country. It also enables you to apply with your family, giving you access to developed infrastructure, international-standard schools, and high-quality medical care.
The Global Citizen Concierge Program is aimed at more affluent remote workers. The following are the minimum annual salary requirements:
- $100,000 USD for singles
- $150,000 USD for couples
- $180,000 USD for families
These minimums are in addition to the annual certificate fee of $1,469 USD for a party of up to two people, plus an additional $500 USD for each dependent. A credit card processing fee of 7% of the total application fee follows.
Those who can overcome this high entry barrier can work remotely from any of the three islands for two years. A notarized bank reference, a valid passport, and proof of health insurance are also required as part of the application process.

Curaçao
Curaçao has joined the ranks of many other countries that grant visas to remote workers. The Curaçao Visa is known as the @Home Visa. They introduced the visa to reverse the decline in tourism, and now they offer longer stays for remote workers, digital nomads, and investors. Residency is available to remote workers for six months and can be extended for another six months.
Each applicant must file a separate application. Families may apply for the programme as well, but they must do so through the main applicant. Dependents incur an additional fee. When compared to other Caribbean islands, Curaçao provides a unique experience to anyone who visits. It’s a kid-friendly island with Dutch colonial towns, exotic coral reefs, and beaches.

Dominica
Dominica launched its own remote work visa programme, the Work in Nature (WIN) long-stay visa, in April 2021. The visa allows for remote work for up to 18 months on the island, as well as various other benefits such as duty-free goods and discounts from multiple service providers.
Applicants must provide proof of expected income of $50,000 USD, as well as either a $800 USD single or $1,200 USD family visa fee. A passport biodata page, a bank reference letter, and proof of health insurance must also be submitted along with the application. Typically, approval letters are sent within 14-28 days.
